| JobDesc | The position will primarily be the training of Completion and Sand Control personnel to the level of competency required for their job position. The training will include , Packers, Packer Service Tools , Basic Maths and Hydraulics and Well Bore Dynamics. The position will also include the development of the competency standards for the business unit and the implementation of the same. This will accelerate the delivery of training and competency to the GBU All packer product line training- this will include the cross training of personnel from other groups within the GBU. Ongoing competency development and implementation- help roll out the competency to the GBU Personnel Assess and verify personnel as per competency requirements in line with Employee Connect Develop new courses within the GBU- to help cross training all our people Mentor our personnel in the new Completions and Sand Control 2 year Training Program Present the GBU Train the Technical Trainer Program- this will develop local and region instructors to attain a set level of competency against a standard. Will help develop the standard Liaise between GBU and region operations to ensure correct course are being offered Present Introduction courses for all The Company personnel. Implement competency to Completions and Sand Control GBU Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these. This position is an office based job, (Based in Aberdeen at the Petroline Building) The training to be delivered will be workshop, rig and classroom. International travel with be a large part of the position. Driving licence ,and a valid passport B.A. degree in teaching Professional Training Skills course ( City & Guilds or equivalent) Assessor, Verifier or Auditors course Supervisory course years in the oil industry (Service company preferred) Offshore Oilfield experience in the running or supervision of downhole tools, cementing equipment. Supervisory skills Experience of quality management systems – development and implementation Onshore /offshore operations supervision. Training of Packer Courses, Operational and trouble shooting experience of a packer product. Practical rig floor training with downhole tools. Experience of development and implementation of competency systems Proven training track record Proven competency design and implementation record Team player who can work on own initiative. Ability to communicate with both work force and management Outgoing personality, enthusiastic attitude. Management development as per The Company program. |
