JobDescThe function of a Senior Cased Hole Operator requires utmost dedication to the equipment that they will be directly responsible for. This involves pre and post job tool maintenance. It is their responsibility to ensure that all equipment requirements for pressure control, perforating and basic equipment are met prior to a job loadout. As a senior figure, they will be expected to act as a mentor for the more junior guys within their team. There will be a requirement to handle explosives in order to conduct many of the services that The Company offer our clients. Following an operation, along with the engineer it is of great importance that all equipment has the required preventative maintenance completed and backloaded safely. To carryout the instructions of WFT Supervisory Staff and to ensure you have availed yourself of the Company’s Training programmes (Input and outputs. The function is to do what…. in order to achieve what…) Comply with the Company and Clients, Health, Safety, Environmental, Operational and Assurance Procedures and Instructions Ensure Personnel under your immediate control conduct their work in accordance with Company and Client approved Practices Preventative maintenance on all cased hole related equipment pre and post job. Assist clients, when required, in ensuring that operational programmes are correct and that any actions taken ensure the correct information is gathered. Ensure all equipment due for loadout and backload is in a position to be safely transported offshore. To ensure that Company Equipment has valid certification is in good condition and safe for use at all stages of the operation. Report on a job by job basis to the Engineer regarding any junior operators performance. Attend debriefing meeting with the Cased Hole Services Manager after every job. Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these. Conduct job by job performance appraisals of their sub-ordinates to ensure that they are performing to a standard acceptable with regards to The Company. Able to travel to customer locations at short notice and perform operations / services as required under instruction from lead engineer. Work often in hostile environments. International travel may be required on occasion Educated to standard grade level. Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical background. SVQ level 2 & 3 Electric line logging. Relevant oilfield experience. Fully experienced in the use of PCE equipment and all associated E-Line equipment. Fully experienced in safe hoisting operations and able to demonstraight a working knowledge of cable specification. Electric line logging experience both in the domestic market and over seas. Good practical knowledge of mechanical services. Full understanding of electrical test equipment Experience with Electric line logging systems. Experience with Sondex logging tools, care and maintenance. Good Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical background Ability to work under pressure, willingness to work in varying conditions, individuals who seek challenges, people who are self motivated, versatile, hands on and practically minded. Who posses good communication skills Honest, hard working and able to learn. Team worker - ability to work in team to achieve shared goals. Results focused - ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload. Flexibility with regards to working hours/requirements. Good timekeeping and reliable.
